In The Community

At Ascend National Healthcare Staffing, we believe in lifting-up our community by giving to organizations in need. Each of our offices volunteer or participate in an event every 3 months. Below are some examples of how the local offices helped our community. You can complete the form below if you are interested in volunteering with us.

Austin Office:

On October 22, we sponsored the first Skipathon. It sounds odd but it was for a great cause. It was to raise money for Foster Angels of Central Texas. This organization gives cloths, beds, and toys to kids that leave their homes and go into the foster care system. At the Skipathon, participants skipped around at Mueller Lake Park. During the event, we passed out balloons and stickers to kids and some adults. We all know that everyone loves balloons. We helped them raise over $37,000. It was a great event to raise money for Foster care children and we hope to help in 2017.

Odessa Office:

Every Christmas, we adopt several families to provide them with gifts and a cooked meal for Christmas. This year we were able to bless five different families with Christmas gifts and provide a cooked meal prepared by Curbside Bistro in Odessa, TX. We love bringing joy to these families in need and we could not make this possible without the help of Kimberly Terk Murphy, Brian Watson with T-Rey Properties, Tad Brown and family, Terry Brown, Darren Marsh, and Mayra Paz and family.
