Our Leadership

Tony M. Brown

CEO

Tony M. Brown is the sole owner of Ascend National, LLC dba Ascend National Healthcare Staffing. He has been involved in servicing the healthcare industry for the better part of 25 years and has also been involved in several mergers and acquisitions over the course of his career.

Executive Vice President

Scott Taylor has over 13 years of healthcare staffing experience in recruiting, sales and management. Scott grew up in Dallas and moved to Austin in 2002. He then received a MBA from Letourneau University in 2005.

Corporate Senior Accountant

Mrs. Hoelzer has over 17 years of accounting experience. A native Houstonian, who attended Lone Star College plays lead role in human resources, payroll, accounts receivables and accounts payable and is our “go-to-person” for all of us.

Travel Manager

Jennifer is a seasoned recruiter with a lot of diversity. Her matchmaking skills and her excitement for the game is dynamic. She started with Ascend’s travel department July 2020 and strongly feels that this will be the grand finale of jobs for her.

Robyn, Travel Nurse Recruiter with Ascend National Healthcare Staffing, utilizes her 30 years of experience in healthcare to help connect qualified Registered Nurses with desirable positions throughout the country.

Credentialing Manager

Ashley has been servicing the Healthcare community for the better part of 10 years, and has been with Ascend for the last year and a half. Originally from Houston, Texas, Ashley now resides in South Texas where she is buying her first home.

Credentialing Specialist

George is a Texas native and San Antonio resident that comes from a strong background with both: in person and phone based customer service roles. George brings over a 10 year experience providing support to healthcare administration.

NaTia has over 20 + years of healthcare staffing experience in recruiting, nurse liaison, special project management, skilled team building and employee transitional programs.

Amber Guzman is a Texas native. She has been in the healthcare community for three years and with Ascend for over a year.
